Cancellation & Refund Policy
For the purposes of this Clause, the term “Order Confirmation” shall mean the earlier of the date on which the Customer pays advance payment to the Solar Installer; or; in case of loan customer on the date of realization of cheque. Customer can cancel the order under following circumstances:
● Cancellation Within Cooling-Off Period:
The Customer may cancel the confirmed order within seven (7) calendar days from the date of Order Confirmation by serving a written cancellation notice to the Solar Installer. In such cases, Solar Installer shall refund the advance amount received, after deducting applicable administrative fees, bank charges, and any other incurred up to the date of cancellation; Refunds, if applicable, shall be processed within thirty (30) days of receipt of valid cancellation notice.
● Cancellation After Cooling-Off Period but Prior to Dispatch:
If the Customer cancels the order after expiry of the 7 day window but prior to dispatch of any material to the site, the Customer shall be liable to pay the Solar Installer:
A cancellation fee equivalent to 5% of the total Purchase Order value; and all actual and documented costs incurred by the Solar Installer, including but not limited to: Design and engineering costs; Administrative and processing charges; Labour mobilisation; Any third-party subvention costs; Material procurement or restocking fees, and other non-recoverable expenses reasonably incurred in relation to the order. The Solar Installer shall furnish a summary of costs incurred, upon request.
For the purpose of this clause, 'Dispatch' shall mean the issuance of a transport document and the physical movement of any part of the RTS System from the Solar Installer’s warehouse towards the Project Site.
● Cancellation After Dispatch of Materials:
The Customer shall have no right to cancel the order once any component of the Rooftop Solar System, including but not limited to: Solar PV modules, Module Mounting Structures (MMS), Inverters, Balance of System (BoS) items, have been dispatched to the installation site, whether in full or in part. In such an event, any cancellation or termination request made by the Customer shall be deemed invalid and unenforceable, and the entire amount paid by the Customer to the Solar Installer up to the date of cancellation shall be irrevocably forfeited; and the Solar Installer shall be under no obligation to refund any portion thereof.
● Project Cancellation Beyond Control of Parties:
Cancellation under Force Majeure does not entitle full refund, and that actual costs incurred till date will still be payable. If the project is cancelled due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of both the customer and Frevolt, the customer shall receive a refund of all amounts paid, subject to deduction of administrative fees, loan processing fees, and any other applicable charges. Such refund shall be processed regardless of the stage of project execution at the time of cancellation.
● For loan customers who have made an advance payment but do not secure a loan from the bank, the Solar Installer shall refund the advance payment after deducting a processing fee equal to 1% of the total project cost or the full amount of the advance paid, whichever is lower.
● Any cancellation charges or cost recovery amounts under this clause shall be payable within seven 7 days of receipt of written intimation by the Solar Installer, failing which interest at 18% p.a. shall accrue on the outstanding amount.
● Solar Installers reserve the right to suspend further work, procurement, or delivery upon receipt of verbal or written intent to cancel, until formal resolution is reached. If the decision is made to continue the project, both parties shall execute a supplementary agreement outlining the revised project timeline, payment schedule, and any remaining amounts due.

● Solar Installer reserves the right to terminate this order in the event of non-payment, site inaccessibility, customer default, or failure to respond within 15 days of written notice.
● This Clause shall survive termination or cancellation of the Purchase Order or Agreement and shall be enforceable irrespective of any other terms to the contrary.
